In the Christian Bible, God’s creation is fundamentally good and complete. Human beings are made in God’s own image, and they are the crown of all creation, trusted to be the Earth’s stewards.
The power of the spoken words is this: God speaks our world into being. He says, “Let there be light…and it was so, and God saw that it was good.”
The world and people become filled with wickedness because of Satan’s manipulation of the first human beings. He used words to do this, too.
Affirmation of the day: Let my words be kind and courageous.
Journal prompt of the day: What do I usually talk about? What am I speaking into being? If my words can create reality, how should I use them?
