Keeping an art journal is a sacred practice. Here is your guide to exploring and getting to know yourself, and feeling connected to the rest of the universe, through this daily ritual.

My recommendation would be to get one journal with a pretty cover and put EVERYTHING in that one journal until it’s full. You can include notes from classes, diary entries, to-do lists, drawings, quotes and song lyrics, collages, and more.

You can bless and bind the journal to you by drawing a sigil on the cover with olive oil (for wisdom) or holy water (for protection).

You can also create a journaling space in your home with art supplies, decor, and candles. Or you can make a travel sized bag stocked with everything you need for your journal to take with you into nature, to the library, or to coffee shops.

Below are some spiritual awareness journaling prompts to get you started.
